Member Information

Members will be aware that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers Association was held virtually (via Zoom) on 12 December 2020.

The Meeting adopted the Association’s Financial Statement for the year ended 31 March 2020 and the Secretary’s Report of Activities for 2020.

A new Association Constitution which had received advance clearance from the Charities Regulator was also approved at the AGM.

As a registered charity (no. 20038816) with responsibilities to members and the wider public, the Association’s trustees have been mindful for some time of the requirements of the Charities Governance Code (https://www.charitiesregulator.ie/media/1609/charities-governance-code.pdf) which comes into effect in 2021. In that context, the trustees have recently agreed a Code of Conduct which will underpin the future work of the Association. The trustees are satisfied that the Association is now fully compliant with the Charities Government Code.

Persons who wish to join the Association or maintain their existing membership are invited to complete the Application/Renewal Form. For a modest annual fee, members receive informative newsletters and an annual journal and may participate in Association events (subject to availability and prevailing public health guidance).
